" When good just isn't enough"
I perform Infrared Thermal imaging. All Thermal Imaging is performed by a Certified Building
Sciences Thermographer. Certification is earned through Flir's Infrared Training Center.
Thermal imaging is helpful in diagnosing many building issues such as water infiltration
(leaking), air infiltration (heat loss), loose, missing and poorly installed insulation, broken water
pipes, electrical overloading or bad connections and much more. Thermal imaging is a very
reliable non-invasive type inspection when combined with the proper tools and a qualified
Thermographer.
Thermal Image of exterior window shows air
leaking into building above the window trim
Thermal Image shows moisture damage at
bright yellow spots on roof fascia and just
under the soffits
Dark spot at upper mid left is air infiltration
through the foundation penetration, dark
squares are missing insulation center right
Thermal Imaging is an amazing process which allows the Thermographer to "see" things the
naked eye can't. Many New Hampshire Thermal Imaging companies own a Thermal Imaging
camera, but few have actually taken the time to be instructed on how to use their camera and
how to be a professional Thermographer. Do you want a non-professional New Hampshire
Thermal Imaging company learning how to perform Thermal scans at your cost, or do you
want a Thermal Imaging Professional to perform the job quickly but more importantly,
accurately diagnose your condition.

Thermal image of cold air infiltrating into the soffit area above the kitchen
cabinets. This is a common cold spot in kitchens.
Left photo, Thermal Image of poorly
installed fiberglass batt insulation over
roof strapping and drywall. Dark spots
are Cold areas from windwashing from
the soffit vents causing convective
cooling in the room. This shot was
taken after the insulation company
thought blowing in loose fill fiberglass
would fix the clients complaint of heat
loss.
